I have had the opportunity to both attend and be a bridesmaid in many weddings where Laura was the make-up artist. Every bride has looked amazing. She has the unique ability to give the client exactly what they are looking for. She did my family’s make up for my sister’s wedding. She was able to adapt her style for my mother, myself, my 14 year old sister, and as the bride my sister truly stood out! I can’t wait for my own special day so Laura can provide me with that signature wedding glow.

When I was planning my wedding, first having the consult with Laura helped set my mind at ease because I knew she was going to do a beautiful job, so it was one less thing I had to worry about! On my wedding day, she was punctual and professional. She did my make-up (and my mom’s and maid of honor’s) with an easy confidence that helped make the whole “getting ready” part fun and relaxing. I felt beautiful, but still myself (just better). When I look back at my pictures, I’m so happy with how great everyone looked. Thanks Laura, it was perfect!

“I was thrilled with my makeup”
I had been in a few weddings where Laura was the makeup artist and I was thrilled with my makeup… so when it was time for my wedding in May 08 it was a no brainer. As usual she was so great to work with and my makeup came out beautiful! She definitely has a knack for making your makeup look natural and not too overdone…. I felt like the best version of myself. She also did my step-daughter’s makeup who was 13 at the time. Her makeup also looked natural but beautiful. This was important to her dad and I since she was young and hadn’t started wearing makeup yet. Overall it was a great experience… I wish I could have Laura do my makeup every day!

“My makeup survived the humidity”
We did a “first look” before our ceremony. This involved my husband and me traipsing around the waterfront of my hometown taking pictures for at least 2 hours. My makeup survived the humidity, the hours leading up to the ceremony, and through all the dancing

“Laura delivered and I LOVED how it looked”
A few important notes: When I went for my makeup trial I wanted a very dramatic, nighttime look. Laura delivered and I LOVED how it looked. However, when I arrived home my husband wasn’t as pleased. He thought I didn’t look “like myself.” The morning of the wedding I talked to Laura and asked if we could do a more natural look. She wasn’t phased by the change at all and I was so happy with how the makeup looked. It is a true testament to her talent that she can make a switch at the last minute and have it be flawless.

“one of the best decisions I made for my wedding day”
Laura of Make Me Up Bridal was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding day. From our first meeting to the moment I slipped into the limo, Laura was absolutely wonderful! She is like having a best girlfriend there making you look your best. Laura’s prices were reasonable (I searched for a long time and was appalled at how much others were charging) and the quality of her work is top notch. All my bridesmaids got their makeup done that day. I offered to pay for it if they’d like it done. As one bridesmaid’s makeup was completed, each of my bridesmaids decided they wanted theirs done too. Laura made my makeup look gorgeous, flawless, and lasted all night. A great benefit to having Laura there is her overall demeanor. She’s a calming influence on the big day, quietly chatting with whoever is in the makeup chair and putting everyone at ease. I was able to ignore the heightened craziness of the morning and sit and relax with her. When Laura does makeup, it really feels like a mini spa treatment! She’s just wonderful. I can’t say enough great things about her. Laura worked quickly but carefully and helped us keep our timeline for the day.
