My experience with Make Me Up Bridal was amazing, Laura and Solange were so easy to work with. Laura was super responsive right from the beginning when I first reached out to her about a trial and throughout the whole process all the way to my wedding day. My trial went so good and I booked them as soon as I could. Laura created a wedding day timeline for us far in advance for hair and makeup which made things so easy. Most importantly they did an amazing job, my bridal party consisted of all ages from 16 to 64 and everyone felt amazing and loved both their hair and makeup. I’ve been in a few weddings and it’s close to impossible to make 6 women happy with both hair and makeup, but they nailed it! We had an incident where one of my bridesmaids got upset and cried (teenager stuff) and wanted to have her makeup fixed up again (though honestly she didn’t need it, she still looked amazing) and Laura just handled it without any hesitation like it was completely normal. My daughter changed her mind about her hair, it was down and she wanted it up instead after an hour (teenagers!), Solange changed it with no problem and did a beautiful job. These ladies are quick and talented and very down to earth and I would work with them again in a heartbeat. Laura even gave me a little bag with things I may need to touch up throughout the night, make up, hair spray etc. it really was a nice touch. They made the whole process easy and stress free which is exactly what you want when planning a wedding.

I highly recommend Make Me Up Bridal for your wedding day! Laura and Solange did my hair and makeup for myself, my mom, MIL, and 5 bridesmaids. They did an amazing job! After my trial I wasn’t in love with my hair and they were so accommodating to make changes and make sure I was happy on my wedding day. I absolutely LOVED both my hair and makeup! All of my girls raved about how great their hair and makeup came out too! They traveled to NH for my wedding day and I cannot say how nice it was to be able to relax and have everything taken care of right on site. Don’t hesitate to hire these ladies, it’ll be one of the best wedding planning decisions you make! Thank you Laura & Solange!

I was in wedding that used Make Me Up Bridal and the work Laura and Solange did was amazing! I was so impressed how down to earth and flexible they were that I knew I had to have them. I did check out other places, but came back to them because price was comparable and I thought they were great! Although Laura and Solange were not available I had Lisa and Renee for my wedding! They were fun and super flexible! They did beautiful work! I couldn’t have been happier and would suggest Make Me Up to anyone!

I could not recommend Make Me Up Bridal enough! Both Laura and Solange were so nice, kind and very flexible. When I initially met them, I brought some Pinterest photos and they were able to replicate exactly! I knew when I met them, that I would be hiring them. Laura was very professional and responsive throughout the wedding planning process and was able to answer any question I had. On the day of my wedding, Solange did both hair and makeup as I had a small wedding party. Solange was very friendly, and everyone couldn’t get over how fast she worked! I and the bridal party couldn’t be more pleased with how our hair and makeup looked. Everyone looked and felt beautiful. She was very flexible and even incorporated a last minute eye lash addition for my mother law. For all these reasons I couldn’t recommend them enough.

I cannot be more happy with Laura and Solange from Make Me Up. I was planning the wedding from out of state, and they were incredibly flexible and accommodating with when I would be in town. They completely captured my vision for my hair and makeup, and even made adjustments the day of. My bridal party and mother and mother-in-law all looked fantastic as well. Additionally, as someone who has thick hair, I was very impressed with Solange’s work on my up-do that stayed put all night! On top of all of this, these women are so lovely and were a joy to share my day with. Would go back to them in a heartbeat.

I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about Laura and her team! Laura was incredibly responsive throughout the trial process and in the days leading up to my wedding. Laura helped me to produce a hair and makeup schedule for my bridal party and was extremely reasonable when it came to pricing. Most importantly, however, was the quality of Laura’s work. Across the board, my bridesmaids and I have never felt more beautiful. Laura truly listened when I said that I wanted to look natural – however she truly made me look like the best version of myself. Laura’s colleague Solange, who did the hair for my bridal party, was incredibly talented! She was able to complete the hair for the bridal party in record time and was so very skilled at all styles she was asked to execute. A dream combination – no stress vendors who really deliver! I promise you, you will not regret working with Make Me Up Bridal!

Laura and Solange are amazing! They did an exceptional job on our huge bridal party of five bridesmaids, three moms, my grandma and three future sisters-in-law. I was a little bit nervous about time but Laura was extremely helpful and we made it work. I can’t say enough about how beautiful everyone looked. Thank you, ladies, you’re the best.

 

Wedding 7/1/2016

I had Laura as my makeup artist and Solange as my hair stylist. They were both professional, accommodating, timely and absolute pros at their jobs! Laura is extremely responsive to email, which isn’t easy to find with wedding vendors. When I initially met them for my hair and makeup trial, Laura and Solange were able to take my Pinterest photos and descriptions and make them into exactly what I wanted. When I started changing my mind a few weeks before my wedding (I’m not sure what possessed me to think I would want my hair down when getting married outside in July), Laura was able to schedule me a second consultation with Solange. The day of my wedding, they arrived on time and were actually ahead of schedule the entire day. My bridal party and husband could not believe how wonderful and talented they were and everyone STILL talks about how beautiful everyone looked! Make Me Up Bridal was the absolute perfect choice — and one of the best choices I made for my wedding day!

 

Wedding: 5/28/2016

Laura was very responsive and kind! I waited until the last minute to book hair and makeup and they were still able to accommodate me and my girls! I had to cancel my initial trial the morning of the appointment due to a family emergency and she was very professional and understanding. Solange was amazing! We had 11+ people getting their hair done and she was finished well before we needed to be done and everyone looked beautiful! So many guests commented on how great everyone’s hair looked! I met Renee the morning of the wedding and she was wonderful. My makeup came out better than I expected and she was so courteous – making sure I was happy with everything she was doing. Everyone’s makeup looked stunning! I would highly recommend Make Me Up Bridal!

I have nothing but amazing things to say about Make Me Up Bridal! From day one, Laura was so wonderful, accommodating, timely and professional. It put me at such ease. My hair trial was wonderful, my wedding day was amazing, and I couldn’t have been happier. Solange, our stylist, was punctual, so fast (we ended up being an hour ahead of schedule the day of), and just the sweetest most talented hair dresser. I am thrilled with how my hair came out. It was exactly what I wanted and I felt so Beautiful! I am SO happy I went with Make Me Up and recommend this company without reservation! Thanks again Laura and Solange!

This team was absolutely incredible!! Laura and Solange did the hair and makeup for myself and entire bridal party (6 bridesmaids and my mother). Their extensive experience was evident with their comfort in the current styles and the efficiency to pull everything together. They stay perfectly on time, even leaving a break for last minute adjustments. They have flexible and easy going personalities which creates a relaxed environment for the big day. Everyone looked just stunning! Having a trustworthy and talented team is such a key component to a wedding day and I feel beyond fortunate that I was able to have Make Me Up Bridal!

I feel so fortunate that I was able to find Laura and team on wedding wire! Laura and her team are not only incredibly talented, but they are all so sweet. Laura was so responsive throughout our contact, from the consultation to the wedding day. My mom, bridesmaids, and flower girls all looked beautiful and they were all so happy with the outcome of their hair and makeup. Solange matched the pictures for inspiration so well. I have been in weddings where everyone complains about their hair and makeup, but with Make Me Up Bridal, that was not the case. They made everyone feel so beautiful. Laura and team are so professional, and before the Wedding day, I received a day of schedule, which was SO helpful to have a timeline, so we knew who was getting what done, and when, it made it so easy! I can’t recommend Laura and Make Me Up Bridal enough! Laura and her team love what they do and it is evident in their work!

Laura & Solange are a dream team. Honestly, any bride would be so lucky to have them available for your wedding day. They are wonderful people & were a pleasure to have part of the most important day of my life. I had a total of 11 women for hair & make up (8 bridesmaids, MOB, MOG, & myself) and they took great care of the entire wedding party. Everyone looked stunning & the hair & make up lasted for many hours on a hot summer day. They arrived early & even went above & beyond by helping tie perfect bows on the bridesmaid tulle halter top dresses. The day of the wedding was very calm & smooth & we even were all ready a little early which left time for fun! Personally, it was so much easier for me to have Make Me Up Bridal manage both hair & make-up for my party versus having to coordinate with two separate companies – another perk! I highly recommend Laura & Solange & team!

I can’t say enough good things about Make Me Up Bridal. I arranged a trial with Solange after reading all the wonderful reviews on the knot. Solange styled my hair exactly as how I had envisioned it! Solange and Laura, the owner, were an absolute pleasure to work with. Laura always answered my emails in a matter of hours and even made a schedule for the wedding day! On the day of the wedding, Solange arrived early and did a spectacular job with each of the bridesmaids. When she finished with my hair, I cried, because she had done such a beautiful job. I highly recommend Make Me Up Bridal for your wedding day!!!

Laura was the most professional vendor. She responded quickly to e-mails and arranged both the practice session and the big day to run smoothly. My bridesmaid and I had our hair/makeup done by Solange on the wedding day and everything stayed lovely throughout the day!

Laura and Solange were great to work with, and Solange did a wonderful job with everyone’s hair and makeup for our wedding. Laura, the owner and one of the makeup artists, was extremely responsive. She was also particularly good at communicating and helping me articulate the exact vision I had for both my hair and makeup.

Where I thought Make Me Up Bridal really went above and beyond was after my trial. I was very pleased with my makeup at the trial, but my hair wasn’t quite right. I sent Laura some more pictures and explanation about the exact hair style I wanted. Since I didn’t have time to schedule another trial, Solange practiced the style on Laura’s hair and Laura emailed me pictures–which was exactly like the style I had wanted. It was a huge relief to know that Solange had the style down, and I was grateful to save both the time and money to avoid a second trial.

Since I was getting married in Gloucester and I didn’t know any of the salons in the area, it was great to have Solange travel to us. She arrived early and was ready to go as scheduled. She texted and called to make sure she was in the right place to give me updates that she was on her way, which I appreciated.

My mother-in-law changed her mind at the last minute and decided that she didn’t want to get her makeup done anymore. We didn’t have enough people getting services done for both Laura and Solange to work on us, so Solange did everyone’s hair and makeup. Since I had signed a contract that included my mother-in-law’s makeup service, it was nice that Laura didn’t charge me (even though we offered to pay). I was a little nervous because I did my makeup trial with Laura, but Solange did my makeup perfectly on the day of the wedding. She also was wonderful and very professional with my mother who was admittedly difficult on the day of the wedding.

Their prices were comparable or cheaper to other similar vendors.

I would recommend Laura, Solange, and their team at Make Me Up Bridal.

Working with Laura was such a pleasure! She was professional, replied to emails promptly and answered any questions that we had. I was booking hair services for six girls in my wedding party and both mine and my fiancés mother. Laura put together a timeframe that worked for us and worked around our needs. Solange was the hair stylist who came to the hotel to prep the girls. She was so nice, and easy to get along with. The girl’s hair was absolutely beautiful!! When we were walking on the streets of Boston to go get lunch (not in dresses, etc.) they were getting compliments from strangers! I would highly recommend Make Me Up Bridal to anyone looking for a hair stylist! Thank you Solange and Laura!

Laura and Solange did an amazing job making me look like a princess on my big day. Laura uses only the best makeup and acts very professional. She was able to completely replicate the look I loved on the trial. Solange transformed my hair from flat to wedding-ready in no time. My maids also looked amazing. Thank you both!

Laura and Solange from Make Me Up Bridal did an awesome job with hair and makeup for my wedding!! The trial run was completely effortless and I was undecided on exactly what I wanted for hair and makeup but they were cool with trying a few options. On my wedding day they were both prompt and were speedy with their services and even added in a few people at the last minute. They were so invested in making sure everything turned out okay, very flexible and were willing to redo one of my bridesmaids hair twice until she had the style she liked! I got tons of compliments about my hair and makeup from everyone and especially my new husband who is not much of a makeup guy. They are easy to get along with, fun to hang out with while getting ready and did a great job. Definitely recommend them to any bride!!

Make me up bridal has a great hair and makeup team! The girls are super nice and easy to talk to, which is good because they are there for a while! We had 8 girls getting ready in our room with the make me up team. Solange, our hair stylist was great! She was very efficient with our time schedule, and when one of our girls was very late for the appointment, she was able to get us back on schedule! All of our hair styles came out perfect and stayed in all night even with our crazy dancing! She listened to what we wanted and my hair came out better than I was imagining!
